One of my favorite shoe trends this season is the wooden platform, and these TENOVERSIX wedges are by far my favorite take on the style. Complete with a cutout in the exaggerated wedge, they are a great alternative to the basic pump. Pair them with your favorite skinnies and leather jacket or minidress for an updated look.

I’m a little glad that I totally slept on the fact that Vena Cava and Tenoversix were doing a collaborative shoe line together. That way, when I fell in love with the shoes at this morning’s show, it was without the pretense of knowing that they were created by two of OC’s loveliest brands. The heavy Lucite and wooden platforms played nicely against Lisa and Sophie’s airy color blocked silk dresses inspired by the 1980s design movment in Memphis.
