A dynamic, discerning personality, Joe brings his experience as a writer, film-maker, producer and general entrepenur to the TenOverSix team. As a culture writer for LUXE City Guides, Los Angeles, Joe knows the competition pretty well and can also rattle off lists of reccs. (on any subject really) if you can’t find what you’re looking for here. Check out our wacky TenOverSix fashion shorts, shot by Joe on our blog. Joe works with artists and designers on custom projects/ commissions, is involved with special projects, and takes care of a lot of daily biz-ness. After successfully getting TenOverSix off the ground (during a mega-recession, no less), Joe’s main focus at TenOverSix these days is taking strategic steps to grow the company beyond a store and into a multi-faceted lifestyle brand.

An accessories lover through and through, Kristen studied fashion at Parsons School of Design, then started her career in fashion in New York as a designer for other companies, then launched her own, namesake, shoe-collection in 2003. The Kristen Lee shoe line fast became a press darling and indie favorite in boutiques in NY, LA, London, Tokyo, among others… The line eventually expanded into handbags, and the designer regularly collaborated with other designers on shoes for the runway. Kristen now designs limited-edition updates on her Kristen Lee signatures under the TenOverSix label. Kristen always had great love and appreciation for the spirit of independent design, and the upstart, impassioned, highly-influential place these designers hold in the industry, so decided to devote an entire store to their offerings, here at TenOverSix. On the side, she works as a fashion stylist for magazines, designer lookbooks, commercials & music videos, check out some of her styling work here.

Brady Cunningham: ART & DESIGN DIRECTOR

Brady honed her very fine taste in things in New York, through stints of fashion jobs, after attending Parsons School of Design. After relocating to LA, Brady cut her teeth managing industry-favorite Resurrection Vintage. Before opening TenOverSix, she co-designed the limited-edition line, Souvenir, which was sold through other fantastic fashion boutiques, and was made exclusively from vintage and sustainable fabrics. At TenOverSix, Brady is able fill in the holes of our merch with warm-weather silk separates, scarves and can focus largely on her favorite pieces: amazing coats, suitable for LA. Her highly signature coats, designed under the CBC and now TenOverSix label, have quickly attracted a strong following from the fashion crowd as well as celebrities. Aside from the private label, Brady is always keepin’ things fresh on our store floor with her mad merchandising skills. She also contributes as an art director for Coconut Records.

While his work experience leaves something to be desired, he just looks so cute (and swaths a mean silk scarf) that he got the job. With these big ears, he hears all grievances (though we hope there aren’t any) and is happy to help with any customer issues. He’s quite the welcoming greeter, to boot.

Don’t let his tough facade fool you; underneath this strong, stocky mug lies a well-travelled, debonaire sophisticate. Nothing gets by this pup (unless he’s sleeping) so be on your best behavior while shopping, please, lest we will have to unleash our security force.
